Git 'dashed' commands are deprecated and no longer available with new installs from source.  The non-dashed versions have been working for a while and this should be transparent.

Switching to maruku, it should fix some of the markdown rendering problems

The parsers are appearantly working together, so I can't choose a specific one without screwing things up. Remedied that.
