Tower Assist To Pottstown

At 10:39pm on Tuesday, Station 64 was dispatched to assist Montco Station 69 for a reported underground electrical fire with explosions in the area of North Hanover Street and High Street in Pottstown Borough. Last evening, twelve of your Norco volunteers attended Monday night training. The crews spent the evening practicing forcible entry and SCBA mask-up drills. Each member conducted multiple evolutions of forcible entry, both alone and with a partner. This afternoon, Station 64 and mutual aid responded to a reported building fire in the 900 block of East Schuylkill Road. Montco Assistant 69 arrived on scene with nothing showing from the alpha side of the building. On Saturday, at 1:39pm Station 64 and mutual aid were dispatched to the 900 block of East Schuylkill Road for a reported building fire. Chief 64, Engine 64-2, and Tower 64 made the response. They spent the evening learning about ATV operations, including how to properly connect, disconnect, and swap skid units for different tasks.
