Dreams of Fall -- for Inspiration Destination

There's a new challenge that starts today at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog (IDCB). As always, the challenges last one week, and are Anything Goes.

We have several wonderful sponsors this week.  I am working with 2 of them -- Beccy's Place and Fabrika Fantasy

First, my card, using Blue Iris, from Beccy's Place:

I colored the Blue Iris image with my Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils.  Designer papers are from Graphic 45.  I used Spellbinders dies to cut out the image and back it.  Alphabet stickers are from my stash.  Triangle studs are from Close To My Heart

Card 2, from Fabrika Fantasy --

This is Dancing Squirrel.  I used the pre-printed squirrel and background paper that comes with the digi stamp.

All other designer papers on this card are from Photo Play - Autumn Day 6x6 collection.  The card base is from Bazzill basics.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.  I used my We R Memory Keepers Cloud Corner Chomper on this, too.

I hope you come play with us this week (and every week!) at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog.  I'd love to see what you make!

Birthday Wishes -- for IDCB

It's Challenge time at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog (IDCB).  As always, it's anything goes!  This week, like many weeks, we have incredible sponsors.  I love Gerda Steiner's art, so I chose to work with one of her digis.
I colored the Bunny with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils, using Canson Mi-Tientes paper.  I used a Lifestyle Crafts circle die in two sizes to cut him out and layer him.  The sentiment is a retired Close To My Heart stamp, punched out with a 1 inch circle punch (also CTMH). The cupcake-shaped card is a cutting file from The Cutting Cafe. Papers are from Pink Paislee -- the Soiree Collection.
I hope you join us this week (and every week) at IDCB.  I'd love to see what you make!

Live Fast and Stay Pretty for IDCB, and a WINNER!

It's Wednesday, and I'm posting today for Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog, where the challenges are every week, and they are always Anything Goes.  We have one sponsor this week, and it's a good one! We're sponsored this week by The Paper Shelter
I made a tag with the fun image, "Rebel":
I used the pre-printed version of this, and used a tag die to cut it out.  I also printed the paper that comes with the image, and used another tag die to cut the paper out.  I stamped a Close To My Heart sentiment on a 3 tag and used another die to cut that out.  The ribbon holding all the tags together is from 3 Girl JAM.  The star confetti is from UmWow Studio
Thanks to The Paper Shelter for the very fun Rebel digital stamp to work with!
Join us this week at IDCB for your chance to win a prize from this fun sponsor!  Remember, it's anything goes.
Did I mention a winner?
The winner from the Colors of Summer Blog Hop this past weekend is Mary Holshouser.  Woohoo!  Congrats, Mary!  You get to pick your favorite 3 girl JAM ribbon bundle -- tough choice!  I'll be contacting you by email.

Shake it! for Inspiration Destination

It's Wednesday, and time for a new challenge at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog (IDCB).  The theme is always "anything goes".
One of our sponsors this week is The Cutting Cafe.  Regina has the absolute cutest files!  I knew right away I wanted something for Easter, so I chose this shaker card from the Easter Overlays and Shaker Cards cutting files:

There are several options with this card, but I decided to make just his tail into a shaker.  I used micro beads inside.  Papers for this card are from Close To My Heart. The tie dye crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM
Join us this week at IDCB.  There are some wonderful prizes to win, including any 3 files of your choice from The Cutting Cafe.  Pick this one!  It's so. much. fun!

Cat in the St. Pat's Hat

It's Wednesday, and I'm posting today for Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog (IDCB).  One of our sponsors this week is Gerda Steiner Designs.  I love her images, so I jumped at the chance to work with this cute one.  I know I'm a day late with this, but it's already been given for a St. Patty's Day card yesterday:
This digi, called 'St. Patrick's Day', was colored with Copic markers.  I cut it out with 2 sizes of Lifestyle Circle Dies.  Then, I mounted the Cat in a St. Pat's Hat on a Snapdragon Snippets Designs Leprechaun hat, cut out on my Silhouette Cameo.  I used several different shades of green card stock from Close To My Heart.
Join us this week at IDCB for our 'Always Anything Goes' challenge.
I want to invite you back March 20-22 for 'Julie's 3rd Blogoversary Blog Hop.' There will be lots of inspiration, prizes, and even a couple freebies for everyone who participates.  It all starts HERE!

A Valentine Rose -- for IDCB

It's Wednesday, and time for a new challenge at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog (IDCB). One of our sponsors this week is Doodle Pantry.  I love their images, papers, and sense of humor!  However, I went serious with this one.

This Doodle Pantry image is called "Rose Bloom". I comes in an uncolored and percolated version.  I chose the uncolored, then colored it with Copic markers, trying out some new, for me, shades of greens and pinks.
The sentiment is a stamps from Simon Says Stamp.
I used Lawn Fawn stitched dies on this, and papers by Piggy Tales -- Hickory Dickory Dock, 12x12.  The ribbon is from the same collection.  The bling is from My Mind's Eye. The card base is Pixie card stock from Close To My Heart
Join us this week at IDCB, where it's always "anything goes"!

Hello! for IDCB

It's Wednesday, and time for a new challenge at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog (IDCB).  This week, our sponsor is The Paper Shelter.  I had a great time with the image and digital paper I was provided with!

The image and paper are both from Capture the Moment.  I printed the paper out at 5x5 inches.  Then, I placed it on a Cricut 12x12 mat, and cut a 5 inch tag from the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge.  I fussy cut the darling girl holding the camera -- she's the pre-colored version -- mounting her on a piece of Juniper CTMH card stock.  I used Thickers for the 'Hello' sentiment.  There's some 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon and Timeless Twine on here, too.
Join us this week at IDCB where it's always Anything Goes!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Celebrate! for Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog

It's Wednesday, New Year's Eve, and time for a new challenge at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog. Again this week, the challenge is 'Anything Goes'.
One of our sponsors this week is The Cutting Cafe, a company I am on the design team for, so I had lots of files to choose from. Since it's New Year's Eve, I thought a Wine Glass shaped card would be perfect!

The image is a freebie I got for participating in the progressive challenge at The Outlawz.  The image is from Simply B Stamps, and I colored her with Copic markers.
The papers, sentiment stamp, and bling are from Close To My Heart
Don't forget to link up those projects this week at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog!

Poinsettia Swag Bag for IDCB

It's Wednesday, and time for a new challenge at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog (IDCB).  Again this week, our theme is "anything goes", so jump on in and join us!
I was lucky enough to be able to use an image by Beccy Muir of Beccy's Place.
If you follow my blog at all, you know I'm on a quest to get 6 gift bags made for a party on Friday.  Here's another of them:

I used the Poinsettia Swag image and colored it with Copic markers.  It was so much fun to shade this one!

After I got done with my coloring, I used a Spellbinders label die in 2 different sizes to mount my image to my gift bag.  I then tied some ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon to the handles of the bag.
A big thanks to Beccy's Place for sponsoring this week's challenge!
Come join us a IDCB -- remember, anything goes!

A Christmas Puppy -- for IDCB

It's Wednesday, and time for a new challenge at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog (IDCB). One of our sponsors this week is Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I can't resist puppy images, so here's what I made with a pre-colored image:

This is "Christmas Bongo" by Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I think he is retired, as I can no longer find him in the shop.  The sentiment is also from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. It is from the Christmas Hugs Sentiment Set.
I cut the image out with a Spellbinders die and used foam tape to give it a bit of a 3D effect.
The designer papers are from Close To My Heart. They are from the Snowhaven Paper Packet. The red shimmer trim is also CTMH. The wood snowflakes are from Studio Calico.
The challenges at IDCB are always anything goes.  Come join us!

A Very Cute Mouse!

It's Wednesday, and time for a new challenge at Inspiration Destination. And, as always, it's Anything Goes!  This week, I was lucky enough to be able to work with a delightful Gerda Steiner image.  CUTE!

I used the Gerda Steiner digi, Ice Skating Mouse, and colored him with Copic markers.

I used a Spellbinders die, cut a popcorn box out on my Cricut, using the Close to My Heart Cricut Artiste cartridge, and mounted the Ice Skating Mouse image to the popcorn box. There's Aqua Blue Baker's Twine from Timeless Twine wrapped around the box, and tied with a big, floppy double bow.
And, that's my inspiration for today's challenge at the Inspiration Destination Challenge blog.  Make anything -- link it up -- win great prizes -- like Gerda Steiner digi stamps!

You. are. old.

There's a new challenge blog in town and it launches today!  The Inspiration Destination Challenge blog starts it's first challenge today, and the theme is ALWAYS ATG!  So, come join myself and the rest of the design team, and have FUN!
Speaking of fun, I had a blast creating this card.  I used a digi from our first sponsor, Fitztown:

The digi is from the Etsy shop, Morgan's Fae World.  It is part of the "Set of 8 Vintage Cars".  I wanted the digi to look old, vintage, rusty.  I used Tim Holt Distress markers and a water brush to get this look.  The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company. The papers and medal studs are from Close To My Heart.
Come join our challenge this week and every week at Inspiration Destination!
