Stillness did take over, all the rage of the goons and mafias was cold. The land of fury was turned upside down, it was quite as a lake. The rapists, politicians, criminals, democrats, corrupts and burecrats were hibernating in thier caves. And the unusual calm and hope was all left with everyone, the feeling of healing simultaneously increased inside. It was birds, crows, the blue skies and nature did start its restoration, as did humanity. But being in solitude didnt taught everyone a lesson, humans ran again like a dog unleashed, started devouring like wolves. The hungry vultures started scratching for the meat again. All the calm and hope did vanish, the pandemic now is a game. I always feared to get eaten by zombies, here they are filthy, smelly, tarnished, foul souled in the face of humans. Beware, the earth is waiting for its annihilation, what about you?
India, Media and Mass Unemployment
The world has been struggling to overcome from this father of pandemics from nearly past 6 months now, in this huge crisis every sector is facing the loss from manufacturing industry to agricultural produce. In this era, India has been consipated with a lot of humbugs present in the society such as building statues, temples, arresting students and civilians in the name of unlawful practices. The jaw dropping economy has brought up several issues that were already present in the nation but have been rising up like boiling waters and one of the subject is Mass unemployment. According to the statistics, unemployment has went up to 24%, inculding all the rural and urban domiciles, which was recorded as just 5.36% last year. One of the mostly affected country of the world has been dealing with this problem of unemployment with some fantastic measures of just ignoring it like the kings. Our respected Prime Minister imposed a countrywide lockdown starting from 25 March, 2020 stating every sector to close up thier businesses, shops and offices without any further notice which lead panic around the markets. The businessmens stopped giving salaries and expelled workers from factories, warehouses and coldstorages, the companies went down without remuneration to their employes. No blueprint of lockdown was established, what will be rules and regulations that every worker shall be paid or not, no implementation of plans were done by the government. Till date most of the service sector employees havent got thier salaries and even some of them have been lost thier jobs all over. The students who spent lacks on thier graduation are at homes unemployed, including the students who were to join the workforce this year. This deduction of employment has bought the country to its exhaustion, in a country were 15% to 30% of its population is aged between 18 – 38, leading unemployment will destroy its financial states and more families will wipe away.
Rather than reflecting the truth, no Indian media channels or newspapers are covering the story of unemployment in these times, they are still busy with either supporting or downgrading political parties, endless debates on bollywood celebrities, countless prime times reporting on realtions of India with neighbouring countries. But no media personal is ready to talk on supporting healthcare or unemployment or floods that are currently ruining Assam. The journalism of Indian media is degrading its capacity of turning the scenario upside down, the media has now started to influence audience rather than informing the audience. And we dont know when will this misery will end.
