Written by Mark

If you need to import data manually into your Hive account, you can do so using a CSV file.

Before completing a manual import, we recommend checking Hive’s available integrations—there may be a faster, more streamlined way to bring data into your account.

For step-by-step instructions on completing a manual import, check out this help article.

Accepted data fields

Once you’ve added your dataset to the contact data import, you’ll be prompted to map the data you’re importing to the available fields in Hive. This step ensures that your data is organized correctly and stored in the right place.

Below is a comprehensive list of the fields that can be uploaded.

Note: Fields marked with an asterisk (*) support multiple import formats. For example, date fields can be imported in different formats (M/D/Y, D/M/Y, or Y/M/D). Double-check to sure you select the format that matches your data during the import process.
