Images help bring your emails to life. In Hive’s template editor, you can easily add, edit, and customize images to fit your design.
Add an image block
In the template editor, drag an Image block into your design.
Click Upload image to choose a file from your device.
Or click More images to access:
Uploads — images you’ve previously added.
Stock library — search millions of free stock photos and drop them directly into your template.
Edit your image
After placing an image, click on it and select Edit image to open the editing tools.
You can:
Apply filters (black & white, greyscale, sepia, blur, and more)
Resize or crop
Transform and rotate
Add text, drawings, stickers, or shapes
Add frames or round the corners
Merge multiple images together
Image block settings
Beyond editing, you can adjust how the image behaves within your template:
Width, padding, and alignment — control spacing and layout
Link URL — make your image clickable
Visibility — choose whether the image shows on desktop, mobile, or both (default is both)
