When you import contacts into Hive or they are synced from an integration, the contacts are automatically sorted into engagement levels. These levels give you insight into how your list is interacting with your emails. Engagement levels update automatically as subscribers open or click your campaigns.
Engagement levels in Hive
Level | Definition |
Active subscribers | Engaged with (opened or clicked) at least one of the last 5 emails they received |
New subscribers | Haven’t engaged yet, but have received fewer than 5 emails |
At-risk subscribers | Haven’t engaged recently and have received at least 5 emails |
Inactive subscribers | Haven’t engaged with any of the last 10+ emails they’ve received |
Subscribers who have tracking disabled | Subscribers who use an email client that blocks open tracking are automatically added to this segment. Hive does not receive open tracking data from these subscribers. However, this segment is safe to include in any campaign you send. |
