**This feature lives in Event Hub and is available as a beta.**
When to use Artist Collaboration
Use Artist Collaboration when you are preparing to market an event and need information or access from an artist. This is especially useful before launching paid campaigns, when delays around assets or Meta permissions can slow things down.
Artists participate as collaborators. They do not need a Hive account to submit information.
How Artist Collaboration works
At a high level, the workflow is simple:
You invite an artist or artist manager to collaborate on an event
They receive an email invitation with instructions
They submit the requested information and assets
Submissions appear directly on the event in Event Hub by selecting the Collaboration tab → “View Details” button.
How the email invitation will look:
Exact steps may vary during beta.
How to invite an artist to collaborate in Hive
Go to Event Hub
Choose the event you want to promote
Select the Collaboration tab
Click + Create Collaboration button
Select the artist and enter the artist's or the artist manager’s email address
Send the invitation
What artists can submit
When invited, artists can submit information tied to the event. All fields are optional. Artists may choose to share:
EPK link
Artist bio
Related artists
URLs for website, socials, or other online resources
Images, videos, or PDFs
Artists can submit as little or as much information as they want. They can also return to the collaboration page at any time using the invitation link. If they update their information or assets, changes are saved automatically and reflected on the event.
Requesting Meta advertiser access
Artist Collaboration includes instructions to help artists grant Meta advertiser access correctly.
During setup:
Artists are asked to grant access to the email address connected to the Facebook account linked in Hive
Artists complete the steps directly in Meta Business Manager
This helps reduce common issues like missing permissions or incorrect setup.
Where to find submitted assets
Once an artist submits their information, it appears on the event under the Collaborators tab.
Just click the “View Details” button. Assets and links stay attached to the event so you can reference them while building campaigns.

FAQs
Do artists need a Hive account?
No. Artists can submit information through the invitation link without creating a Hive account.
Can artists revoke access or update assets?
Artists can update assets and other submitted info anytime. Changes automatically appear on the event. There isn’t a separate “revoke access” option, but you can always edit or remove anything they’ve submitted.
Can I reuse assets across events?
Not automatically. Artist collaborations are tied to individual events, so submissions only appear on that event. You can still reuse assets manually, like copying a bio or re-uploading images or EPKs for another event.
Is this available for all events?
Yes. Artist collaboration is available for all events and doesn’t need any special setup. You’ll see the feature as a tab within Event Hub.
Can I invite more than one artist to collaborate on the same event?
Yes. You can invite multiple artists or artist managers to collaborate on a single event.
What happens if an artist doesn’t respond to the invite?
The invite stays open, and nothing changes for the event. Invites don’t expire automatically. You can resend the invitation, view invited users, copy the invite link, or share it through another channel,l like text. You can also follow up with the artist outside of Hive if needed.
Can collaborators see my campaigns or account data?
No. Collaborators can only see basic event details, such as the event name, venue, artists, and date. They cannot see campaigns or account-level data.
Can I control what information artists are asked to share?
Not yet. All fields remain optional and aren’t customizable.
You do control whether the invite asks for Facebook access and which email artists use to grant access. We welcome feedback if there’s information you’d like to request in the future.
