What is a Quick Campaign?

Quick Campaigns is a feature designed to help you create ready-to-send emails, SMS' and ads in just a few clicks.

What are the core benefits of Quick Campaigns?

  • Eliminate repetitive tasks – no more digging through event pages or clicking endlessly menus.

  • One-click campaign creation – launch directly from your event listing.

  • No manual data entry – event details, timing, and venue information auto-populate to reduce errors.

  • Focus on what matters – spend your time reviewing and refining content instead of entering data.

  • Designed for everyone – proven templates help beginners get started fast and make experienced users more efficient

No more starting from scratch, switching between tools, or copying and pasting the same information repeatedly. Quick Campaigns allows you to scale your marketing quickly and efficiently, even if you’re a team of one.

When is it useful?

Quick Campaigns are ideal for messages you send frequently throughout your event lifecycle—such as On Sale announcements, Know Before You Go reminders, and Post-Show follow-ups.

If you already have templates you reuse for these types of campaigns, Quick Campaigns will reduce the time from start to send. Any campaign that follows a consistent format and only requires minimal edits per event is a great fit for Quick Campaigns.

How to use Quick Campaigns

Quick Campaigns are always tied to a specific event because they pull in that event’s data.

  1. From your Events page, either:

    1. Click the Quick Campaigns button on the right-hand side of the event listing.

    2. Or click into the event and go to the Quick Campaigns section.

  2. Choose from the following Quick Campaign options:

    1. Announce Pre-Sale (email or SMS)

    2. Announce On-Sale (email or SMS)

    3. Know Before You Go (email)

    4. Post Show

    5. Low Ticket Inventory (SMS)

    6. Abandoned Buyer (Automation)

    7. Ad Campaign

You’ll also see an option for Affinity Segments. This doesn’t create a full campaign, but it does build a segment using your existing ticketing data.

For example, if you create an Affinity Segment for a Taylor Swift concert, Hive will analyze past events and purchase data to include anyone who has bought tickets for similar concerts (based on genre and artists). Affinity Segments can be created on their own or included automatically in other Quick Campaign options.

  3. Once you’ve selected your Quick Campaign type, you’ll be prompted to choose.

    1. An existing Quick Campaign template, or

    2. Create a new Quick Campaign template

Note: Quick Campaign templates are separate from your regular email templates because they use unique merge tags to pull in event-specific data.

  4. If you choose Generate campaign, Hive will create a new template using the past template you selected as the base—so pick your favourite! You’ll be taken into the 8-step email builder with steps 1–6 already completed for you.

Although Quick Campaigns does much of the heavy lifting, it’s highly recommended that you review each step to ensure it meets your campaign needs. For example, in step 2, you can review which filters were applied and add or remove filters as needed.

  5. Once you’ve reviewed all 8 steps and confirmed your Quick Campaign is ready, you can finalize and send it.
