Executive Coaching is a second career for me. After leaving my last place of employment and looking for my next role in IT, I realized that I was finding the same-old, same-old, and my heart just wasn’t in it. I had energy for something new, something that would pique my curiosity and would allow me to contribute. I discovered that what I enjoyed most about my roles was mentoring and guiding my direct reports. Being in a position where we have to straddle both technology and relationship building proved to be challenges that we did not learn how to address in school.
