  • NTPC Ltd has invited bids for a 1,800 tonnes per year sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) plant in Pudimadaka, Andhra Pradesh. The project encompasses design, engineering, construction, and supply, with bids due by November 6. This initiative aligns with projections suggesting India could produce 8-10 million tonnes of SAF annually by FY40.

    FASTag Annual Pass users have crossed 25 lakh. Over 56.7 million transactions were recorded in the past two months nationwide. Launched on August 15, 2025, the pass offers economical travel for National Highway users. It is valid at approximately 1,150 toll plazas across National Highways and National Expressways. The pass is available for all non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag.

    The National Company Law Tribunal has ordered the corporate insolvency resolution process (CIRP) against Wind World (India) Infrastructure following a default on dues to IDBI Bank. The company, a subsidiary of the already distressed Wind World India Limited, argued its revenue source was cut off by its parent's resolution professional.
